Hi All,

I have been trying to configure and stabilise my setup for around half a year and all due to cyberlinks codecs. After installing Nvidia Purevideo decoder all went much better. Now tv is stable and i am looking forward to sort out different things.

Now to the point. When i play recorded tv or movie in full screen and press STOP button on my MCE remote everything stops and it is ok but when i am watching tv in full screen and hit STOP nothing happens. I need to exit full screen, it doesn't matter to which and hit STOP button. Is there any additional condition i should add to stop button in mediaportal configuration app.
Also i have a problem with recording button. When i watch tv and hit record button nothing happens, i go back to epg, click infor, record and then it starts recording. I also found out that record button doesn't work only for channels with epg.
I would appreciate if anybody could provide me some info on how to sort these things out.

I am also having the same problem (and have done since my first install of MP a year ago). Does anyone have a solution or workaround for this?

Thanks.

There is no official workaround for turning TV off in fullscreen with or without the mce remote.

Remotes that work with macro's can do multiple things, ie change screen\ stop live tv with one button press.

Check your codecs are fine with Filmerit.
Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have a remote with macros, but then it doesn't know when I am on full screen TV or windowed TV etc, so I guess the solution is a bit more complicated. I guess I'll have to keep plugging away until I can get a working solution - maybe using something like AutoHotKey?

Thanks for reply Paranoid Delusion!
I tested myself a keyboard button "B" to stop wathcing video and tv but it wasn't working for TV so i firgured that You can map remote control buttons only to the functions you can with keayboard.

What abaout record button for programs with EPG when i am in full screen? I can record the programs in fullscreen which do not have EPG.

I think you would have to talk me through this question, can you give me a step by step guide to follow, also what you are trying to get recordings without epg to do.

Some channels just do not have EPG and that is the reason. Lets say i am watching something on a channel that doesn't have epg and decide to record it.

I have NVTV card (i asume it is analogue) and dvb-s card. All cahnels mapped to analog card do have EPG. DVB-S channels do not have epg for all chanels.
When i am wathcing channel on NVTV in full screen and hit record button nothing happens, but if i go to epg window, highlight the program, hit info button on MCE remote and record, then everything works.
On dvb-s channels with EPG and without EPG record button works so it means that there is something dodgy about my analogue card?

ACtually, I am seeing the same thing on my Setup. When I am watching in fullscreen mode, pressing "Rec" would usually bring up a little dialog asking if I wanted to "record the current program" og "record until I stop". This does not happen anymore. I have EPG on all my channels, so I cannot tell if this only happens (or don't happen) if there is EPG.

I also cannot tell when this started happening, because I am almost sure that it has been working with RC2, which I am using at the moment. I have not had SVN on, so this couldn't have broken it.

I've seen this too, but only on some channels.
