Country: | Added movies db + thumbs\video on mine and that works fine. So copy your c\program files\team-mediaportal\mediaportal\database + thumbs folder to somewhere safe as a backup, Vista these folders are in program Data and you will need to show hidden files\folders under view option for folders. Restore any db + relevant thumbs 1 at a time and just check everything works fine before doing the next one.

| After uninstalling TV Server/Client and MP 0.2.3, and then installing RC 1, my C:\Program Files\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\ directory does not contain a \database or \thumbs folder. I have navigated to my videos share in MP, and added one or two movies, and these folders still do not exist. The movies I have manually added show their thumbnail icons properly, but I cannot find where these database files are stored. This is on Windows XP SP2. The end goal here is to restore my 0.2.3 movie and music databases. I have tried copying the old database and thumbs folders to the MP directory, but only the two movies that I have added manually since the reinstall show up. Where are the thumbnails\database files stored in RC1? In the MediaportalDirs.xml file, they both point to where you'd expect them to be - under the installed directory. |

Country: | I got my movie DB copied over to RC1 (thanks for the tip) now I just need to get MyPrograms over. I have a lot of games set up in it and really don't feel like doing it all over again. Anyone know how I should do this? |
