Country: | Hi, I run Mediaportal on XP, booting off a USB flash drive. Until recent release candidates, this worked. I finally decided to bite the bullet and install RC3 (I was previously running 0.2.3 SVN), and it failed. Starting up either the app or the config program both resulted in: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: InvalidArgument=Value of '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'. Parameter name: SelectedIndex at System.Windows.Forms.ComboBox.set_SelectedIndex(In t32 value) at MediaPortal.Configuration.Sections.TVRecording.Loa dSettings() MP was launching the config program because there was no existing config. I could not exit the config program cleanly and write a file - I could only cancel. This is purely a playback system, so no TV server is installed. It looks like the problem is within the old Televsion config, under Recording - Disk Quota. With just the flash drive, the drive dropdown list was always blank, and I couldn't select anything. I've subsequently added another drive, via iSCSI, and everything is working perfectly again. I'm guessing it would also be fine with a HDD installed. Hope that's useful to someone. Cheers, Josh |
