MP1 not recognising my Technotrend C1500

On entering details in MP settings, MP incorrectly shows the wrong card "Hauppage Nova", however it does say it is a DVB-Cable. Why does it not show the correct card and why will it not scan for the channels as i have changed the .dvbc file with correct information.

The card works with technotrends own software and with DBViewer.
I have searched the forum for others with the same problem and found one person but his thread never got answered.........
