No Video on playback

Just installed mp and when playing video files I get perfect audio but no video only a black screen ???

Also have MCE installed whch plays the same files perfectly!!

Installed K Lite codecs and FFd show all to no avail

Any obvious mistakes I may have made - which box did I not tick or un tick ???

Fixed it - trial and error but got there - tweaked bits in FFDshow and all okay now
