outdated skin problem

I was running RC2 when I started getting an error at startup of Mediaportal saying that my skin is outdated and Mediaportal might not run correctly. It was an orange box with a button that says Ignore and Try Anyway...
Clicking that button would lock up my system.

So I uninstalled it along with uninstalling all my settings and everything and noticed RC3 was out. So I just installed RC3 and same issue, although this time I was able to crash out of the error & test windows. I even tried clicking on different skins in the Configuration program. But that didn't seem to help either.

I did somehow manage to get into RC3 and look around the new Blue3 skin. But after exiting and restarting I am back to the outdated skin problem

Any ideas how to fix this? My family cant figure out how to watch TV without MediaPortal!

Hi

We need the logs to say what has been happening, which skin were you using to get the warning.

Getting the logs we need, go to the Start menu\team-mediaportal\mediaportal logs collector, run through steps 1 to 3 making sure the error happens

Upload logs using forums advanced + feature.

Hmm, I loaded up the log collector tool, did step 1, ran MP with step 2 and it loaded right up without a problem.
I deleted my shortcut and made a new one and ran it from that without the tool and it loaded up fine.

Maybe step 1 of the log collector tool fixed it? /shrug

Upload Logs\Pictures etc, use the "Go Advanced" and select the + feature to upload\attach files.
