| Area: pvr 350 radio MediaPortal Version: 0.1.3.0 (2005-08-26) MediaPortal Skin: mce Windows Version: Windows XP (SP2) .NET CLR Version: 1.1.4322 DirectX Version: 4.09.00.0904 (9.0c) Audio Codec: NVIDIA Audio Decoder Video Codec: NVIDIA Video Decoder CPU Type: Intel Pentium III - 902MHz Memory: 255 MB Motherboard: MED 2001 (ASUSTeK Computer INC.) TV Card Model: Hauppauge PVR 350 (1.18.21.22266) TV Card Type: Hardware TV Card Driver: - Video Card Model: Nvidia Geforce2 Mx/mx 400 (32 MB) Video Card Driver: - Video Card Resolution: 720x576 Video Render Type: VMR9 Audio Card Model: Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) Audio Card Driver: - Synopsis:: Hi everybody, I have a problem with the radio part of my hauppauge pvr 350 since I reinstalled mediaportal 1.3.0 (cvs08/26/2005) recently. The first time I wanted to listen to a fm radio station there was a dialog box that said something like "the file does not have the right format for the codec. do you nevertheless want to play it?". I answered "yes" and since then mediaportal treats fm radio stations like video files. that means that a small media player window is shown in the lower left corner of my radio, but nothing happens. Has anyone an idea what I can do to correct this strange behaviour? [edit]: hauppauge radio application works... Thanks in advance! Ciao, BartManson |

Country: | Hi, hmm. I had this also once with some CVS versions. But not with the one you mention. Did you run start.bat after unpacking the CVS? What drivers do you use for your PVR 350? Try these: http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=9027.0 Flip |

| Hi Flip, I'm not sure if i ran start.bat after unpacking the CVS. I did it yesterday, but nothing changed. I used graphedit to take a look at the filter graph when playing a fm radio station and it showed that no filter is connected to the pvr 350's radio pin. Only the mpeg audio and mpeg video pins are connected to filters. Unfortunately it is a read-only filter so I could not change it. If only I knew how to insert screenshots in this post ... Maybe someone can post a screenshot from graphedit when playing a radio station with a pvr 350 in a working configuration. I'll try the drivers from shspvr tonite and keep you informed... Thanks for your efforts! Ciao, BartManson |

| Hi Flip, I switched to another cvs that works reliably on my htpc (August 11) and there the radio works, so I guess I'll stick with this version until 0.2 final is released. Thank you very much again! Ciao, BartManson |
