Default Quartz.dll Needs Updating?

Hi,
Just installed V1-RC1 and the latest SVN.
When I start MP I get the message Quartz.dll is out of date and requires updating.
MP just hangs on loading until I click one of the buttons on the message.
If I click 'OK' on the message it takes me to the wiki (which does not help).
If I click 'Cancel' the message vanishes and MP starts up and seems to work fine.

After a look around I can download this file but I have no idea where it should be or how to update it.
Cheers!

what you mean by "it takes me to the wiki (which does not help)." ?

If you look at the requirements page you will notice that there are some listed patches, and the message says one is missing on your machine:

Required Updates and Hotfixes (do not try to use MediaPortal without!)

videoplayback flicker hotfix (fixes flickering when you play back video) (included in SP3)

Install it and MediaPortal will be happy enought to hide the warning message

You also should check if your DirectX installation is up-to-date. You can get the latest version here.

Hi,

the problem is, there is no german hotfix. I can't install the English (US) Version of this hotfix.

Just tried installing the 'video flicker' hotfix,

I will try downloading another version...
