So where have you hid MPI?

I have browsed and browsed and read and read.....everything but no where I can find that darn installer. I think the guys/gals who are in charged with the documentation should be more descriptive and try to read from a newbie point of view

Try in your MP directory

c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MPInstaller.exe

Nope. It isn't there.... I am using the stable version 2.2.0

that's the reason why, you have to use the last one : MP 0.2.3.0. RC2

Does it work also with the "old" stable 0.2.2.0 ?

i just upgrade my stonetime version 0.2.1.0 yesterday, up to 0.2.2.0

spend a lot of time, in fixing the skin-problems (use a DIY mix from MePo and SimpleMP-Beta1 with hover efekts/fading and zooming, other colors a.s.o.) -- built it myself ...

but some things have been different between the 21 and the 22 version in case of the skins ... but made it ...

wont upgrade today again --- and have all the work again

...

couse now i had a look at the new german TV-channel-logos ... but without that MPI, it will be a lot of work again to extract all the logos and rename tham in the right format for MP.

AND .. yes, now i am a little affraid, if the MPI will not work with the 22 version instad chrashing some MP-confs down

noone reads ::the news on the frontpage:: ?

0.2.3.0 RC2 even creates a shortcut for MPI in your start menu. + when you dowload and double click an MPI file, the installer will launch

regarding the documentation.
you all know now how it works. maybe someone is willling to contribute and add this to our "opensource" wiki?
