I currently have a dvb-t card in my machine, however when i plugged it in, it didn't work. i checked the digital signal website and it shows that the digi will not be turned up until poss 2012... which i can't wait 5 yrs to get a htpc setup.


I have been looking at the cable solution (virgin) but again this is a problem as not many cards out there and difficult to setup.

Which leads me to satalitte, but that means i have to get a dish, reciever and also then I will not be able to change channels within MP.

So which leads me to the BIG q? what solution can you advise me of???

if you have a mce remote with blasters, you should have no problem changing channels.

I take it you are looking at freesat.

Do a search around sat cards, as some seem to be far superior than others.

I am looking to buy this card however i can't find it on the supported cards pages.... but it puzzles me that the dvb-t card, exactly the same as this card is supported???
