Default Terrible TV quality with Hauppauge HVR-1300

Media Portal is a great software. But I have continous
problems in configuring the TV. I have no idea what the
reason is. I have (via DVI) two monitors in clone mode
connected. One 42" LCD TV screen and one 7" touch-
screen in a SilverStone case.

Do you need a log file? If yes, just tell me.

TV works, but the quality is terrible. No matter what Video Codec
I choose. With the NVIDIA decoder it does not work at all.
The picture is much too bright and has wrong colours - difficult
to descibe. With the Hauppauge software WinTV2000 the quality
is ok.
As well the quality with videos, DVDs etc. is very good.

Your videocard seems to be the problem.
It has to be DX9 compatible.

What kind of video are we talkin about?
Try play this file:
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...otica_1080.exe
Does it play without any stutter?

Btw: MX440 is actually DX7
