TV Card Driver: MPEG2 Video Codec: MPEG2 Audio Codec: h.264 Video Codec: Satelite/CableTV Provider: ComHem HTPC Case: Cooling: Power Supply: Remote: Hauppauge TV: TV - HTPC Connection: S-Video I'm was earlier trying to install TVE3 on this partition, but faild on the prerequisits. Now those seems to work (magic I guess ). Now I've tried to do an absolutely clean install of "MediaPortal_Setup_1.0_RC1_Refesh.exe". But I get a report that an old version of TV-server exists. I've even removed the mediaportal directory completely in the program folder. Is there anywhere else I need to check for setup files? I might have been to quick in removing all files, but it's done. How can I get around this problem? Regards Hair |

Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
Try the MS uninstall cleanup utility, if the bloody OS did its job properly would not be needed. or run ccleaner and just scan registry, delete anything found referring to mediaportal\TVServer.

Thanks! I'm up and running now!
Just deleting in the registry did not help. I ran Cleanup last and then it workt! Me and computers! ;-) Two things does not seem to work in MP1 though. I'll check if it is already reported. Thanks again! Hair |
