Unable to tune in MediaPortal

G'day,

I've been trying to get my DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Plus PCI to work with MP. The card is detected and I don't get any graph errors anymore (fixed that problem), but I still can't find any channels. I live on university residences down in Canberra.

I've tried MP Autotune (altered the dvbt.xml tuning parameters to suit Canberra frequencies) with no success, i've also tried ScanChannelsBDA.exe to see if I can find anything, and again nothing can be found.

However, if I use the FusionHDTV program that comes with the card, I can find all channels here in Canberra.

Any ideas why I can't in MP?

Hi,

i have the same problem (with RC4) - so i just copied my channel file from an older release (there it worked) to my new installation and everything works fine now... but autotune is not possible - find nothing...

so perhaps now it gets attiontion? 2 persons with same problem?

but which version have you installed?

Need the big picture, can you use the support template, and say if using any svn updates or not.

Your card shows as being supported on the wiki. could be a driver issue\change that needs to be rectified within MP.

you will get it (at least this worked for me) if installing an older version (like RC2) and then autotune... then copy the channel file to the new version...

or find someone near you with dvb-t and take his/her channel file

Is ANU, Canberra close enough for a chanell file? I just cant get my card to work either to generate it..

I had similar problems with my KNC DVB-T. I solved the problem using a backup of my channel list I made some time ago.

The other day I discovered that using an older "tuning parameters" xml my card was able to tune again with RC 4 installed.

Try to use the older version of tuning parameters

The card is detected and I don't get any graph errors anymore (fixed that problem), but I still can't find any channels. I live on university residences down in Canberra. I've tried MP Autotune (altered the dvbt.xml tuning parameters to suit Canberra frequencies) with no success, i've also tried ScanChannelsBDA.exe to see if I can find anything, and again nothing can be found. However, if I use the FusionHDTV program that comes with the card, I can find all channels here in Canberra. Any ideas why I can't in MP?
