MediaPortal Skin: Foofaraw
Windows Version: Vista - Business
CPU Type: Intel Dual 2.4 Ghz
HDD: Western Digital 320 GB
Memory: 1GB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 7300 LE
1. TV Card: Hauppauge Nova T-500 Dual DVB-T
Satelite/CableTV Provider: UK Freeview
Remote: Hauppauge

Hey all,

Ok so ive been using MP for around a year now, its brilliant and ive loved working out all the stuff i can do with it. Recently however ive been experiencing a fair few problems with the thing and thus thought it was time to start fresh as i have probably made it go to pot through my own doing especially as no-one other than me seems to have the majority of my problems lol.

right so i uninstalled through programs and features, then went on a hunt for the left over files and folders in program files and program data. I also unistalled foofaraw, my skin.

Ok so i reinstalled everything after a system restart, unfortunately noothing is any better, im still experiencing my issues and a new one has arisen.

My lil niggly problems are as follows

The TV guide hides behind the live tv (a solution involves pressing information then guide )
other problems with things appearing all over the place (however i believe this is skin related)
My Recorded TV contains a mass of files no longer present and often if present they have the wrong names

So i guess what i need help with is making my system as if Media Portal never existed so i can start fresh and be back happy as larry. So if im missing something in my unistall process or anything please suggest it and i will give it a try

Thanks everyone for any help you give.

Josh.

(p.s sorry its kind of an epic message)

When you uninstalled, was there anything left in the following directory?
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
