Question Vista TV Server Crashed! Manually Edit IP Address

Hi Everyone!

I' a newbee and trying to test MediaPortal on Vista Ultimate so far no luck. I have IP v6 enabled on my vista and my mistake in the TV Server configuration I selected IPv6 address instead of normal IPv4 address e.g. 192.168.1.2 etc... Now the TV server is crashed doesnot run and I can't pass thru that.. I tried uninstalling - reinstall etc etc..
no Luck!! Need some help.

Is there a way i can manually edit the config file to change this address back to IPv4 address..

BTW I was unable to run the mediaportal with my Pinnable 110i BDA analog TV tuner card!!! when I scan for channels nothings shows up..... I have no problem with Vista MCE... but as u all know MCE is no good !!!

Please help

Thanks in Advance

Hi,
You need to do a fully uninstall & remove everything regarding TV Server, which means TV Server root folder (C:\Program files\Team MediaPortal\TV etc) & prog data folder for TV server (C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\TV etc) & then reboot & re-install MP + TV Server.

Regards
Roy

Hi Ronilse,

Thanks for your help and support, I'm attaching the log file for TV Server the filename tv.txt
I'm trying to look into it but cant seem to make much sense out of it at the moment ......
Let me know if at this stage any other file (name) would be helpful
Waiting for your recommendations
Thanks Again
