I have tried loading the tracks into foobar2000 and if I look at properties it actually contain a DISCID tag with the correct number set. I don't know if taglib-sharp doesn't read flac-tags properly.
But don't waste any more of your time on this if its only me seeing this problem, I can live with it, and I'm very greatful for all your work.

no, it MUST work. doesn't matter if it is only you or not.
i'll have a look into it after the christmas holidays, to see why the discid isn't read for flac files.

I am using the tag "DISCNUMBER" in MP3 files with good results. IIRC, "DISCID" is reserved for a unique identification number across all CDs published.

Question Default cover art is used for parent directories. (minor tweak)

Hi Hwarhmann,

I'm using a music share structure of Artist -> Album -> Tracks.
All my files have embedded cover art and the artist and album directories all have a folder.jpg file to identify the artist or album.

When using layout of type "List" within XFace skin, the folder highlighted shows the folder.jpg correctly as the CD image on the left hand side. Everything except the parent directory ".."
This always shows the default unassigned coverart.

Is it possible to display the folder.jpg file of the parent directory (if it exists) when ".." is highlighted?

Sorry - it is not. However as it is now it can be distinguished easier as being not another item in the list.

If at all it would be possible to show a dedicated icon for ".." but even that could break plugin behaviour, etc.

Thanks rtv,

Though it might be a simple tweak. Doesn't hurt to ask

Exclamation Exception in MyMusic

I got an exception in MyMusic (evertime I go to MyMusic):

- installed MP 0.2.3.0 final (without TV-Server)
- configuration (even update music-database)
- download SVN 01-17-2008 05-05h - Revision:17070
- configuration
- start mp
- goto mymusic
=> no items on the right side
=> the error.log contains some errors (something like can´t "cast")

=> do the same with starting the test-tool before: see link below for all log-files:

http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/me...05-t34053.html

Must I delete my music database????? If I do: build MP a new one at start???

Please help.

Thanks
Johannes

To me it looks like you have a mix between new and old version.
Please re-installl in a new directory and give it a try. then you have a new music d anyhow

Default My Music works now

thanks hwahrmann!

I had to completly deinstall MP, then to install 0.2.3.0 Final and the latest fix (then configuration with rescan of the music database).

I Don´t know what I have done wrong to get a version-mix.
