Stereo music upmix only for LFE?

Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to have bass sound on LFE (bass). The upmix stereo to 5.1/7.1 is usefull but for stereo sounds I prefer to have two speaker and sub woofer.
Is it possible?

theoratically yes, but i've not implemented it.
only do the upmixing as of now.
