Unless I can get my hands on an imon receiver I doubt I'll be adding it any time soon ... unless someone can supply me with some open-source source code to base it on.

As a follow-up to what I said earlier today about Imon support ...

I've spoken with Cybrmage who has been very informative in regards to the Imon situation. It seems that the only software available to work with imon remote is the 1st party imon software ... and a plugin for girder. I've done some searching around and found the girder plugin.

I think the best chance of me getting the imon to work with IR Server Suite is to use the girder plugin. I have started on a girder plugin interface for IR Server Suite but it never got completed... I'll see if I can get it to do anything with the imon girder plugin, but I don't have a device to test with, so I may not get very far

I'll get as far as I can without an Imon device, but at some point (assuming I don't get very lucky) I will need an Imon device...

I'll keep you all posted.

I was reading sometime ago about people using the HID option with the regular MP (not TVE3), a keyboard plugin (something like mykeys) and teh iMon remote emulating keystrokes. Hope this helps

ok, you should now be able to use the Imon remote with IR Server Suite through the Girder Plugin support.

I know its kind of a silly request but can you make an option to hide the tray icon. I like keeping my sys tray nice and tidy

I think that a command line parameter to hide the tray icon would be best. I'll look into it.

Yeah, maybe something like this

There's only one problem with making it a checkbox on the configuration form... once it's been set, how do you get back to it to change it?

That's why I think a command line parameter might be best... So you could change the shortcut to "Translator.exe -hidden"

I'll try a few things out and see what works best.

Translator still makes a shortcut in the programs menu...
