Country: | G'day again. No I am not using SP1. I had a problem with the tvserver or the SQL server at one stage. It took a while but started working again after I put in the IP address instead of the PC name. Later I noticed I either had 2 servers or 1 master and 2 slaves (can't remember exactly). I thought I knew which one was configured so I deleted the other. I then had to reconfigure my TVserver as all the channels etc had gone. I think it may have been after this that I couldn't access TV3 blaster for IR server suite config. I'm not sure I want you to recreate it, one of us in trouble is enough. Thanks, Fraser.

Country: | Hi Aaron, I made an first try, plugged the small USB receiver into the PC. It is recognized as three HID devices. In the IR Server Suite there are two custom HID entries: HID: USB RC107 Remote HID: Mouse Should I be able to select an item in the config and this one should remain marked? If I select the RC107 remote and click ok, the next time I enter the config it is unmarked. I can't get any action in the IR File Tool or the Debug Client... Just for your info. /Mikael |

Country: | fwal: ok, I see the problem. It seems like the service that converts host names to ip addresses is disabled and that is making the Host name lookup fail... that's probably why you had trouble with your sql server. I will make a change to the IR Server Suite to get around that... I'll have it convert "localhost" to "127.0.0.1" so it doesn't have to look up the IP. Due to the default being "localhost" it looks like it's failing to convert that to the local IP address... I'll get back to you when I have the code changes in. But you should probably try to fix it at your end anyway, because I would be surprised if it didn't effect other software. Neptuni: I'll have a file you can add to your install that will give you a new item in the Input Service Configuration... Don't worry about the custom hid receiver for the moment, it's not finished. Cheers,

Country: | and-81, The hosts file has 1 entry for localhost only and I have stopped and restarted the "DNS client". I also uninstalled & reinstalled IR server suite" to see if it created any other entries. Before that I reinstalled vista. I don't know what else to do other than wait for your modified program. Thanks

Country: | Hi all, I have a problem where my HTPC resume automatically in 5-10 seconds after standby. I'm not sure why this happens but it seems as the InputService has something to do with it. I've attached the logs from TVserver, IR Server, Event log, and MST. I'm not sure how to read these log-files but if you check what happens on Feb 17th (today) around 16:09:15 you see a typical case of standby followed by an immediate resume. You'll also see this happens all the time... I've tried to disable the IR device from triggering resume using MST but it didn't make any difference. Can it be some other process triggering this? If so, how can I find out which one? Cheers /Peter |

Country: | fwal: I'll post a new test version shortly that should fix the problem for you. petsa: I had this problem myself, I ended up uninstalling the driver and rebooting with the device unplugged. Then I plugged it back in and it came good. Are you using the latest test version of the IR Server Suite? Cheers,

Country: | 50chickens: I'll try to make some more fixes for that before I post it, so give it a try when I do. Also, I don't know if I've already asked you this ... Where abouts in Australia are you? Cheers,
