Latest Test Version of MCE Replacement Plugin

Hi Richardg,

Did you replace the original MS drivers with the MCE Replacement drivers? (It's not done during installation). My Back button (and others) did not work in the SVN version until I did this.

I've posted a new test version on the first post of this thread.

It should fix the problem with the default Microsoft driver and improve compatibility.

If it fixes the problem I'll put it on the main download section.

It works like a charm.
Just one question. I don't have the extended buttons for the MCE remote replacement driver.
I had deleted them recently. Is there a way to get them back quickly.
I want to now move to blasting an external device

great news, i'll update the copy on the download section of the web site.

To recover the replacement driver buttons you just press "Reset" at the bottom of the input mapper screen, if that doesn't work then you need to delete the MCE Replacement.xml from the InputDeviceMappings/Custom folder.

Hi.

I need help with this plugin. Have been using myblaster plugin until now, but i cant get it to work with 0.2.2.0.

Now im trying this plugin, and all i want it to do is to change channel on my STB with blaster.

This is my setup:

MCE remote
Mce reciever
blaster on port 1
Dreambox 500 sat.

How do i learn the plugin the drembox commands?

Sorry Tazman, I didn't notice your original post.

Have you read the included documentation? It gives you a lot of information.

In the plugin setup screen you go to the IR Commands tab and teach all the commands for your STB. Then go to STB Setup and you can assign those IR Commands to the digit and select functions.

Have a look at the documentation (you can access it from the start menu or from within plugin configuration by clicking "help).

Give it a try, I'm sure you'll figure it out.

I'm using the MCE Replacement plugin.
1. I can't replace the orig driver ,
2. when I'm using the plugin (disable the MCE remote), the arrow key's
is "pressed" twice.

I have the exact same problem,when the mce replacement plugin is enabled the navigation keys moves 2 times.
when it is disabled there is no problem with navigation but i'm missing the atvantage of using the blaster.

any ideas ?

Have you clicked "Remove Replacement Driver Mappings" in the Map Buttons dialog?
