Exclamation New test version 2007-02-11

Thank you all for your support.

I've updated the test version on the first page of this thread. If nobody has any problems with it over the next couple of days then I will definitely put it on the download section.

Thanks.

and-81,

I'm new to media portal and would really like to switch from beyond tv. So far I'm very impressed with what the Media Portal Community has done.

I currently have your TV3MceBlaster plugin loaded. USBUIRT w/Zones is the one feature I need to convert to MP. I understand this feature is next on your list for the MCE replacement plugin. It would be great if you could port this over to the TV3MceBlaster plugin also. I'm a software tester by trade and would be happy to test this feature on the TV3MceBlaster plugin.

Thanks for all your hardwork,

-Mattamus

Hi Mattamus,

Once the MCE Replacement plugin has USB-UIRT support it will only be a couple of days until I put it into TV3 Mce Blaster as well.

I'll post back when I've got something ... it might be a week or two though. I've got a lot on my plate at the moment.

Cheers,

Default Cannot use the new SVN ?

Hi

I am a novice in this, so please forgive me if I am in the wrong place / forum. I cannot make the new MCE replacement plugin work with the new SVN (version 2.2.0 SVN Rev12938) ... I can use the "old" version of your brilliant plugin to "blast" IR commands to my CDC-7000 (Canal Digital) Satbox, but when I install the new SVN, and your newest plugin (from the first page of this forum) - the MCE blaser will not work ?. Ive tried to run thru the IR learning rutine a lot of times - but the blaster dosent even "blink" :-( Have you any idea what I should do ... and THX again for a brilliant plugin !

Sorry about my english, hope you understand !

I'm still having issues

The only way I can get it to work is with version 0.2.2 and the older version (from downloads page) of your plugin. This works great by the way .

But the scheduling bug is a real pain, and I'd like to upgrade to one of the SVNs, but when I do that, and try one of the newer versions of your plugin the blaster does not work. The blaster will flash like it usually does, but the STB does not respond. I don't know if its an issue with the plugin, or with the SVN. I've tried the SVN from Jan 30, and from Feb 11 without success.

Any suggestions to try? or do you need more info from me?

Hmm, it seems a few people are having problems since I put in the blaster type and speed settings ...

This is a real problem for me, because that change has helped people get it working that couldn't use it in the past. But at the same time has stopped others from using it at all ...

I have an idea on how to fix this, so I'll make some changes in the next couple of days and ask you to test it for me if that's ok?

I'll get back to you soon.

Cheers,

No problem, Aaron. Whenever you can get time is great. I would be happy to test it out.
