Default Analogue card support

Hello.

I have been using MP 0.1.3 for quite some time now due to the support being dropped in newer versions. When I used 0.2 I had to use a third party decoder, which caused extreme lag, but when I use 0.1.3 it was totally fine. My question is, does the current MP version support Analogue cards just like 0.1.3 did?

Thanks.

I assume that you are referring to software encoding analog TV cards? In which case the answer is that the current versions of MP are the same as MP 0.2.

It is highly recommended that you purchase a hardware encoding analog card to use with MediaPortal.

Thanks Taipan, that's exactly what I meant. I would upgrade to a digital card if I had the budget but I honestly don't see much need as I only use MP for watching tv/movies.
