Default Australian FTA HD TV transport stream

Does anyone know what format Australian FTA (Free To Air) HD Channels are transmitting? Is it MPEG2 or H.264 and are they are going to change in the near future?

They are all MPEG2, and I am not aware that there are any plans to change to H.264.
