Bluetooth remote control (SonyErcsson K700i)

Hi all,

I set up a HID profile for SonyErcsson K700i to use it as a Remote Control. It works fine. It is really enought to have just 19 buttons to control everything.

I can download it from http://nakvic.t35.com/files/MediaPortal.hid

Once you got it, just send the file over bluetooth to your phone (if you have not pair it with PC, just do it), and activate Remote Control. Start MediaPortal and enjoy.

I have a Sony Ericsson W800i, it has a built in profile called "Remote Control". It'll natively control an XP PC with a usable BT connection (in my case, a little cheap Sitecom USB -> BT thingy).. Works just like a mouse and blows the audience away :-)

Hi,

I've already noticed that

I asked cause the three given profiles do not exactly match with mp.

I just installed the hid file posted in tom2's link
and it works like a charme.
I'll search for a programm which can edit the hid file
as there are , like mentioned, no graphics explaining what every handy button does.

SE offers a programm which allows you to edit/create own .hid files

besides I found another mediaportal.hid file,
this time with graphics, will report if it works
