Can only assume its your card. Im having no trouble seeing Prime, but them Im on Telstraclear cable rather than an aerial.

Im up the valley a bit in Northland with the same card and drivers but on RC2.

Cant remember what I have Prime set to but can check tonight hopefully.

Zxcvbnm2 you are a champion! Autoscan had set the frequency to 781.250, changing it to your 783.250 fixed it 8)

You're now on my christmas card list! Thanks for the replies guys

Default Subscription TV - is sky the only one?

Returning to Wellington soon and just wondering what offerings are now avaliable as far as subscription TV is concerned? Are we now restricted just to the free to air (TV1, 2, Prime etc) and SKY since Saturn and co died?

Thanks for any responses.

And what better part of the country to return to

We still have Saturn (now Telstra) cable, which is of the digital variety. Sky have gone downhill though, no free movies and other channels have been axed or moved to pay. Telstra's line up is reasonably similar to Sky's I think.

We don't watch enough TV to warrant paying for it, so we just get the free to air TV1, TV2, TV3, C4, and Prime.

I just looked at your earlier post about your DVB-T card, you might want to keep it with you. TV1 and TV2 are doing digital trials at the moment (not sure if it's of the -T variety though, haven't bothered looking in to this digital stuff), and TV3 is to join them shortly. A shift to free to air digital is still a while away though.

Yo, another Kiwi here!

Just setup a bitsa machine yesterday for running MP.
Works great!
I am using the XBMC plugin to use my modded xbox to set recordings etc and to watch the recorded shows. MP machine just gonna sit in a corner somewhere

Machine specs:

AMD Sempron 2400+
512MB DDR400
60GB HDD - Big enough for now I hope!
Hauppauge 500MCE twin tuner card
No remote as not needed
MP RC4
XBMC 0.6c plugin
XMLTVNZ for EPG - Can only get TV1, 2 & 3 - No Prime or C4 where I am & can't afford Sky
