Either check out the xmltvnz website http://www.reven.co.nz/ for an answer, or post in the forum.

Or tell me what youve tried so far and Ill see if I can help.

ok, my version is v2.4.0.4.

from cmd start "xmltvnz.exe tvguide.xml -offset +1200 tv1 tv2 tv3", wait for a 5-8mins, no errors, got a tvguide.xml file, open the file to check what is inside, usual xml file nothing strange,

Code:
<xml>
<DOCTYPE>
<tv>
  <channel>
    <display>TV1</display>
    <icon>
  </channel>
  <channel>
    <display>TV2</display>
    <icon>
  </channel>
  <channel>
    <display>TV3</display>
    <icon>
  </channel>
  <programme>
    <title>BBC World</title>
    <desc>
    </desc>
    <category>News</category>
  </programme>
  <programme>
    <title>Breakfast</title>
    <desc>
    </desc>
    <category>Talk Show</category>
  </programme>
  <programme>
    <title>Te Karere</title>
    <desc>A captioned repeat of yesterday's programme.</desc>
    <category>Maori</category>
  </programme>
  <programme>
    <title>ASB Business</title>
    <desc>
    </desc>
    <category>News</category>
  </programme>
and etc

then, copy the file to c:\program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal\xmltv folder, then start MP, go to My TV -> TVGuide and see no TVGuide data is available

Your on the right track. Im not at my MP right now but you dont need to copy it anywhere, just set up the config correctly.

Have a look at that it may become more obvious. You may need to point the directory to your xmltvnz folder (and therefore the tvguide.xml) and then use that to 'import' the channels.

Ill try and answer properly tomorrow, but have a look in there and see if it helps.

Prolly easier to explain it from the start.

Grab the latest xmltvnz, extract all the files to the XMLTV folder in MP.

Then make a bat file here http://www.reven.co.nz/index.php?opt...d=29&Itemid=46

It should look like this depending on what channels you want "xmltvnz.exe tvguide.xml -days 5 tv1 tv2 tv3 sky_c4 prime sky_maori sky_trackside" Name it "xmltvnz.bat" and put it in the XMLTV folder.

Run the bat file 10-15 min later you should have a tvguide.xml. When you go to the guide in MP it'll be blank, takes awhile to update.

Also you might have to set your TV channel names up in MP setup if there not named right.

Once it's all going just set up a scheduled task to run the xmltvnz.bat file every 3 days or so.
