For sale in NZ:
Fans & Accessories - 120mm - Nexus® 120mm Real Silent case fan, Black & White - Legion Enterprises - PC Cooling & Noise Solutions

The fans I'm ordering are from the original manufacture they will have a different label and will probably be black with orange blade but are the the same basic fan. I'll be selling them (to order) for $NZ14 each +P&P. I expect them to take about 2 weeks to arrive.

So anyone building an HTPC or just wanting to quieten down your existing one without paying a fortune now's your chance. Just let me know how many you want

Ok well they got here much sooner than I expected!

For those who have PM'd me your fans are in the post or will be as soon as payment clears.

Anyone else; I still have a few "unclaimed" fans so PM me if you want any, be quick they're going like hot cakes!

wow, i popped in to see if people were talking about dvb-t yet, given it's impending unveiling - i didn't expect as much discussion as their has been! i won't leave it so long between visits from now on i guess.

i found the image on this page...

NOAA Satellite Image Archive of New Zealand by Landcare Research

which is the best nz one i've seen so far, but i can't find a way to isolate it for mp in a way that it would always display the latest image (it updates twice a day). anyone have any ideas?

dvb-t is near. awesome

it's been a couple of months now with media portal and i will NEVER go back. just love it. the best media management solution i've found by miles. everyone who visits and sees it is very impressed and the WAF has been great because it's so easy and intuitive to use. now i just can't wait to integrate dvb-t

Has anyone succeeded to get the latest version of TVE3 working with DVB-T yet?

If so care to share what the following means for setup....

--------------
Previous guid was correct we just need to adjust TsReader.ax to work with the Monograph AAC decoder. Note: Mainconcept AAC Decoder v7.6.0.20220 or later works!
--------------

So do we have to install the Monograph AAC Decoder which I think is available here

RadScorpion’s blog Blog Archive MONOGRAM AAC Decoder v0.9.0.0

or do we need the Mainconcept AAC Decoder which I have no idea how to get.

Or is it the third answer?

Also how are people going with reception? We're got a hill between us and the transmitter which has caused havoc with VHF at least in the past but not sure what UHF was like or if it was even possible. Is DVB-T looking like it is harder or easier to pick up properly?

I suspect that we'll need to just rely on the sat signal but would be quite happy if we ended up being able to get the HD signal.

Yeah I don't think it's working with the free monograph decoder (yet). I don't know where to get mainconcept either

Hello people.

First it's MONOGRAM not monograph.
and I'm already trying to make the decoder work with media portal reader so please be patient.

I'll get back here when I need some testers.

Cheers,

Igor

Sorry Igor. The joys of copy and paste while the brain is turned off.

Great to know that you're making progress on this.
