Are any channels encrypted and require decrypting?

im using the Hauppauge WinTV-HVR4000 HD Quad-mode TV receiver, it has dvb-s too so if we need to get the epg off the satellite it could help.

this maybe a stupid question, but how to you use the new MONOGRAM AAC Decoder? is a .ax file, i registered the last one in cmd prompt but i dont know how to use it in mp!

De-register the old one as the new package will install it and register it for you.
Also the configuration is done via MediaPortal configuration. Just choose the capable AAC decoder you want to use.

In what way? What are your systems specs? You should fill out your "My System"

Use core AVC codec for video, however to decode h.264 you will need either a dual core ~2Ghz or a Video card that supports h.264 decoding.
