| Is it possible to use the compress option when using TVServer? I can see the option to compress but it doesn't work. Or I am doing something wrong. I would like to be able to compress some of my recordings to xvid. |

| Portal Member | If your video is H264 it will not work. Otherwise it should do. To account for h264 and other formats, i would like to request someone creates a plugin GUI for the Handbrake 0.9.3 CLI release that is coming out soon (currently svn), which can transcode h264 and other formats. |

| So are you saying it currently works for you with TV Server. I attempted to use it but it didn't seem to do anyhing. I am recording to Mpeg TS. It is not H264. Do you have steps to follow, maybe I'm not doing something right? |
