Country: | Hello, first of all this is the best system for htpc and it only getting better ! ![]() My question is how to get the enhanced video render working?. I have tried on my xp pro sp2 with dotnet 3. Everything works fine until i press pause or fastforward or something, then all controls freeze and i can not do anything. When i look in taskmanager i can se that media portal has broken but the sound is still going. Then i have to kill the process to ge away. I realy want to use this funktion, because the picture quality and smoothness is so mutch better that today. Is this a problem on xp or can i do something to get it work? im using latest build and RC3 and powerdvd or windvd codec. Sheerz! ![]() |

Country: | You do not benefit from using EVR in Windows XP. Even with .NET Framework 3.0 installed, XP lacks support for DXVA2. Are you even sure you can see a difference? This may be an illusion... Regards, Simon Last edited by illStyle; 2007-11-12 at 19:46. |

darklord I think we may need your specs and logs, especially whether or not you are using tsreader as well. i am also taking it for granted tha you have followed the download\install instructions in the EVR2 thread, which might have been a better place to have posted this. Thanks
