Default Enhanced video render ?

Hello, first of all this is the best system for htpc and it only getting better !

My question is how to get the enhanced video render working?. I have tried on my xp pro sp2 with dotnet 3. Everything works fine until i press pause or fastforward or something, then all controls freeze and i can not do anything. When i look in taskmanager i can se that media portal has broken but the sound is still going. Then i have to kill the process to ge away.

I realy want to use this funktion, because the picture quality and smoothness is so mutch better that today. Is this a problem on xp or can i do something to get it work?

im using latest build and RC3 and powerdvd or windvd codec.

Sheerz!

You do not benefit from using EVR in Windows XP. Even with .NET Framework 3.0 installed, XP lacks support for DXVA2. Are you even sure you can see a difference? This may be an illusion...

Have you even read the EVR thread, As far as the illusion is concerned it is crystal clear on my xp m\c.

I think we may need your specs and logs, especially whether or not you are using tsreader as well.
i am also taking it for granted tha you have followed the download\install instructions in the EVR2 thread, which might have been a better place to have posted this.

Thanks

Default Thanx..

I will read the links and hope they.. help me to get a better tv and video picture.

I now have read the links you told me and they only told me the same thing. Other users that got the same errors.
Yes the colours is better with enhanced, but my big problem is that the picture is good when its not moving then when it moves i got blur and fuzzy. When i turn on hardware acceleration using power dvd or windvd it runs better. But then i have problem to get deinterlaceing to work! Can you help me?
