Default FFDSHOW integration- broke?

It seems I cannot get Media Portal to use FFDSHOW post processing. Here's a snapshot when I click on filter properties tab..

FFDSHOW version is 1193. When I select OSD to on in ffdshow and play in Media Player I know it's working, as green text is overlayed on the top left with input & output.

It used to work in the past

Hi,

you have to add the "ffdshow Raw Video Filter", not the Video Decoder filter.

Flip.

I too have this issue.

With ffdshow configured - codecs - Raw video - all supported
I set up postprocessing to resize all video to the size of my screen (this eliminates an issue I see with video jumping up and down 1 line every second or so).
I also switch on OSD to show if it is working.

All files played back through zoomplayer work correctly, xvid, divx, mpeg2 dvd, h.264, etc....

but when played back in MP certain file types are not postprocessed, for me this is the h.264 .mkv files that I use coreAVC to decode.

the graph in ZoomPlayer for .mkv video is:
mkv --> coreAVC video decoder --> ffdshow video decoder --> overlay mixer --> video renderer

the graph from graphedit using render media file on an .mkv is
mkv --> coreAVC video decoder --> ffdshow video decoder --> VMR video renderer

in MP the graphedit shows (when using connect to remote graph)
mkv --> coreAVC video decoder --> video mixing renderor 9

Hi,

well ffdshow postprocessing still works for me very well. Could you please post the screenshot of the error again. Also take a look into this thread, please.

HTH,
Flip.
