FloppyDVB S2 not recognized

Hi to all,
i have a new FloppyDTV S2 card, just installed (Mediaportal 0.2.3.0 RC2) the card in not recognized by MP. So i tryed to install the TVServer 3 and the card is recognized and work very fine.
But i want to use the standard MediaPortal W/O TV server, is there a way to make it work ?
I installed the latest firmare on the card and the software is at the last version 4.2. I tryed several versions of MP but nothing. I intalled even the MS patches and all the fix....
Please, Help ME !!

using the TV part of MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC2 along with floppyDTV-s2 makes no sense, because it doesnt support dvb-s2

dvb-s2 is only supported in TV-Server and works pretty well.
i am using the floppyDTV-s2 pre-series model i have here nearly daily.

no. there are no plans / interested developers to do that in MediaPortal 0.2.X.X.
we are also not sure if that would even work, because MP 0.2.x.x uses Microsofts StreamBufferEngine for TV.

the future is definitly the TV-Server.

Any news here? I mean it is not possible to use this Card in MediaPortal 0.2.X.X.

I would like to use the Card only for SD DVB-S Channels and not for HD DVB-S2 Channels
and later use TV3 when it gets more stable and when there are more german-language-DVB-S2
TV Channels avalible. Did someone try this: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/Add...supported_list
to generate a xml File for the FloppyDTV S2?

Any help would be great.

if you install the BDA drivers (NOT the MCE drivers), then MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 should find it.

Thank you for your reply

I have installed it exactly that way, but I get en error Message that the Graph could not be build

So I think the Card is missing in the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml-File...

Is it in the XML-File? How can I check that myself? I can not check now, because I'm now at work

I ask because I have installed the Card with the BDA Drivers and I get this Error-Messege.
