FTP folders

I have a problem with FTP. im using cerberus ftp server and my lan/internet site is huge so FTP are setted for many ports like 23, 24, and others (21 are not allowed because router have assigned this port for other ftp) there are no problem with ftp connections like Total Commander and others so i dont understand why MediaPortal have problem with other ftp ports

in documentation is info - only 21 port are accepted, so what for is a place for write port when im selecting ftp folder :/

another question - why i MUST set a LOCAL folder when im using FTP? i tink there should be blinked a "local folder"when im pushing checkbox "this is a FTP folder"

Because the files need to transferred to the local disk and not everybody wants them to end up in window's temp dir.

I'll check why port 21 doesn't work. Would help if you could provice a public ftp share (no copyrighted files needed of course)

i mean ... in my network port 21 are not allowed because on router this port is assigned to another computer so im using another ports like 23, 24 if i want to share my files over net, and locally too.
ie 83.10.112.21:23 -my computer 83.10.112.21:22 my wife computer and 83.10.112.21:24 computer in work

so im connecting on same IP but after change a port im knocking to other computers but if in MP change port from 21 to another is not allowed then i must change my method

Another question is - why moving on ftp folders are horrible slowly even if this is a local network or loging to ftp on same computer. i must wait about 15-25 secs with every folder change
