| I find the guide very small in MediaPortal. We were using the MCE2005 before trying this, we like everything about it except the guide. In MCE it was the perfect size, but now we have to go in front of the TV to read it. The menus on the MP look fine, just the guide is so small. Does anyone know how to change this? How to change the guide size and how to change how many listings show up at once? We also find that there are too many lines in the guide as well. Thanks Jason |

Country: | It is very simple to change that. You have to edit the 'mytvguide.xml' file in your skin. Look for the section called 'Channel template' (i.e. <description>Channel template</description>). In that section increase the 'height'. That way the height of every bar will increase and fewer bars will be displayed (as many as fit the 'TVGUIDE Panel'). You may want to change 'width' and 'height' in the section 'Channel image template' as well to make the channel images fit the new bar height. And while you at it change the font size in the sections 'channel Label template', 'template for program title light area' and 'template for program title darkarea' for better legibility. If you are using the Blue Two Wide skin, try the 'mytvguide.xml' attached. It's what I use, it shows only five channels at a time and has some additional changes. When you change the xml file, don't forget to delete the file packedgfx .bmxl (ignore the number in the filename). It will be regenerated when you start MP. Or look at the 'MyRefresh' plugin (very cool if you want to change skins). Hope this helps. VdR Attachment 1298 |

Country: | Yes that one works perfectly. However it took me 20 minutes to find the thread again. http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/la...-t14128p2.html |
