Default Is a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1300 a good card to buy?

The Hauppage HVR-1300 is listed as a "supported card", can someone verify that it works?

I've got a Pinnacle 310i today and cant get it to work, even though its listed as supported card.

I dont want to spend more time with this now, so I'm trying with a new card instead...

HVR-1300 retail running perfectly here. Always did, no matter if analog or digital.

Hi,
like mPod, my HVR-1300 run perfect on both analog & digital. Works fine with both classic MP & TVE3.

Regards

Hi,

I've bought mine yesterday. At the beginning I had quite good video quality but no sound at all. After updating the drivers (the drivers on the CD were almost three years old, thanks Hauppauge!) everything works fine.

At least analogue TV, DVB-T is still not availible here.

Hi,
I am going to buying this card, but I've one question..
Can I record simultaneously a dvb-t and analog channel using TVserverV3 with this card?
Are you satisfied about this card?
Thanks.

No you can't use the analogue and digital parts at the same time. But it is a good card... Does anyone have it setup as a hybrid in TVE3? I tried a long time ago but had problems...

Mirk: Just to be clear: Better than FloppyDTV?
Ronilse: How are you using the digital part here in Norway? Are you refering to old test transmissions in MPEG2 or the new MPEG4 (H.264)?
