how to make sub titles work in my tv (i am a new bie)

I like to see tv with out volume in the nights, so i enable sub titles in my tv. Now i am using my pc with MP in my bedroom. I am not sure how to enable subtitles in that program. Can some one suggest me ,

Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of MediaPortal,
Unfortunately subtitles are not available as yet

To the the best of my knowledge this functionality is being worked on and is planned for release at sometime in the future
