Improve Performance

I have 384 MBs of RAM and 2 IDE HDDs on Separate buses. Is there any way to Improve the Performance of MediaPortal while Browsing/Changing Options. Are there Any features which can be disabled or minimised?

System Config

2 X 40 GB IDE HDDs
384 DDR RAM
P4 1.6 GHz CPU
Onboard Sound, Graphics Card

I was thingking of some way to shift my Page File to My Second HDD so as to improve upon the Paging Speed. MediaPortal runs reasonably fine but takes about 4-5 seconds for some operations to complete.

more RAM for a start.
512mb is a bare minimum these days
