Wow, works for me too and I'm using build 17500 of MP which is from about February so not even 1.0 RC1.

I just copied it over the original without stopping tvservice and did a rescan and it picked it up as ITVHD not 10510!! scratches head!

It picked it up as 10510 for me, but I just renamed it. The only other problem now is trying to work out what is actually being shown in HD as ITV.com doesn't specify if a programme is also being broadcast in HD.

I dont think there is anything other than the football at the mo. I think if you look on their listings (itv.com) it shows the football with HD tag but nothing else yet!

Amazing, thanks a million for sorting out this feature, another major HD channel sorted, bringing my total to three, BBC-HD, ITV-HD and Lux HD (nothing interesting here). Bring it on....
One more thing.... Any way of getting EPG info for ITV-HD, I know its a red button service but would be nice to see whats on when.

Scratching my head here since ive installed DVBVIEWER as a workaround to get ITVHD for the footy
the threads progressed and it now seems there is a way to receive ITVHD in portal through TV server only problem is
i can no longer get tv server to work ive followed the instruction in this thread with regards to tswriter but get an error when trying to start tv server config it comes up tv server not running start now and then an error message
it was working fine, was it the installation of dvbviewer i dont want to start uninstalling reinstalling again if thers a simple work around

What is the name of the database you are trying to connect to. it was originally "TVLibrary" with MediaPortal as password.

SQL management studio express is good for checking this.

Have got itvhd working now in portal without dvbviewer many thanks for the help yet again the only problem im still unable to resolve is the epg wen using the freesat services are unavailable ive left portal on for 8hrs straight on bbc1 hoping its some sort of time delay but as of yet its still not working

MP doesn't support grabbing epg for satellite as far as I know. I use the xmltv grabber instead.

OK, all installed and working ITV-HD, watched the football tonight but keep getting the occasional breakup in picture, flicking to BBC-HD I get no breakup at all. Anyone else?
