The new Media Portal Test Team Forum is now ONLINE!

If you want to help us testing Media Portal and provide the developers with useful informations please register at.

everyone can help. you just have to follow the TestPlans that will be posted soon.
i have also written a HowTo:use Testplans and Post Results in the new Forum.

If you have experience in developing and/or testing software please send a pm at the new forum (nick is infinityloop). we need your help to setup new testplans.

I agree that this is great but I have concerns on this on another forum.

I now have two places to keep up with MP development and discussion.

Besides the inconvience I think more dedicated talk and organization around testing is an excellent addition to the MP development.

i know that its detering to have a nother forum to watch. but
there wont be much discussions about the developement like here and the other mediaportal websites. we dont have the same topics, that would create caos

the main purpose of the Test Group Forum is to set up TestPlans, publish them (so everyone can use them and post the results), collect the results and make them availabe for the developers.

We have been working very hard the last days to develop a easy and usefull Testprocedure.

Now that you all see how a testplan looks i know many of you noticed that they can help us with setting up Testplans.

MediaPortal TestTeam moved to www.testteam-mediaportal.com

On the 20.04.2006 the new MediaPortal TestTeam Website went online.

This step was necessary because the old domain name /www.elite-squad.net) was not related to the MediaPortal Project.
Now you can find the TestTeam webpage and forum under http://www.testteam-mediaportal.com

The new domain name and the switch to a new hoster is not the only change. Now Joomla is used as Content Management Software, the vBulletin Forum has been updated to the latest version and the TestTeam website uses the same skin like the official website.
