its piss easy to dig up a direct download url from the html

that way you can download a .divx file and just watch it with your favorite player

im strongly against these plugin craps and i have had to resort to direct downloads, but it has worked

or:

click the small "downloadbutton" in the middle of thevideo thumb
download.jpg
or "right click" save as
download2.jpg

so in the opposite to ALL other solutions like youtube you get

maximum video resolution 1920x1800
max video filesize 2GB
uploaded video does not get re-encoded to crap quality
unlimited amount of uploadable videos
direct download
ALL FOR FREE!!!

infinity are there plans on doing more tutorial videos? cause i think they are excellent, and would save lots of post of people asking how to do certain things.

congrat on the ones already there.

yes, i have planed to do additional tutorial videos. but i cant tell you when because my sparetime is too limited atm. and i want to wait until some things reached a "final state" so the tutorial stays vaild for a long time

thats absolutly fair enough !! I have no hurry, it would be more for new people or for new features, but i was just wondering cause i was really really impressed with the tvserver ones. It made all so much clear !! Then i though that i wish there had been one for tvseries for when i started trying to figure out how it works. no need for me now, but sure will be very usefull for new people.

once again, thanks for that amazing job u are all doing with mp and everything around it !

would definitly be cool if other ppl would also make some tutorial videos.

those could be added to the MediaPortal stage6 channel.
