Default *.mkv files: Is Resume Possible?

Hi,

I think the title describes it sufficiently. Can MP prompt to resume a previously played Matroska media file, like you can do with *.dvr-ms (or *.avi & mpeg files (I think))? Thanks.

I hope the answer is yes: if not, it should be added to the app's functionality.

Not with my *.mkv files. Is there a setting that needs manual adjustment to make it work? Or a plugin?

It works absolutly fine here, no matter what kind of container - incl. MKV.

Same here. No problems with whatever the container consists of.

Is that across an LAN? Should it make any difference? I only use MP on my bedroom HTPC as I've never been able to install TV3engine & get working: but that's another issue. Thanks.

Okay: welcome to the twilight zone.

I have just had to install my SATA HDD dirves onto my desktop PC as my main HTPC rig has failed -video card issue.

Since the relocation, my *.mkv files are resumable on my bedroom HTPC across the LAN. WEIRD!!!!!
