Movie thumbs (folder.jpg)

I really like how easy and nice it is to get posters/covers showing instead of a folder icon while browsing your movies. What I don't like is that MediaPortal tries to replace my nice looking ones with garbled crap looking ones (low rez). Why is that?

If I select IMDB view for a film, I totally understand that MediaPortal tries to automatically download and create a folder.jpg image, but if the move already has that file, why overwrite it by defalt? I am now writeprotecting my folder.jpg-files, because it's really irretating. This however makes MediaPortal crash as it can't crap all over my movie posters.

Or is this a skin issue? I'm using a recent SVN build and Spinsafe Revolve (beta 0.3b).

nah this is an issue for quite some time mate

i got the same problem also so the only think i can do is dont imdb the files

till an option comes out not to download coverart

please gimme a log file of MP crashing with those write protected tumbs!

rtv: What's really weird is it didn't crash now that I tried to do it again. Must be unrelated. If I DO get another crash I'll remember to post the log here for you though.
