NetFlix have also announced that they are going to provide an API to their data! So there's another data provider available to us.

The main thing to remember about tmdb (themoviedb.org) is that its content is user-driven... think wikipedia meets imdb. This allows us to create the community and content ourselves which we should all feel good about
