mp config crash

i cant get the mp config to open.

i get this error :

EventType : clr20r3 P1 : configuration.exe P2 : 1.0.2548.23843
P3 : 458d1db7 P4 : system.xml P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 4333ae70
P7 : 6b1 P8 : 27 P9 : system.xml.xmlexception

Looks like a corrupted mediaportal.xml file.
rename it and try it again. this time the wizard should start.
