My TV locks up when changing Window Size

MY TV locks up when I try to change the window size or go Full Screen, the pictre just freezes.

When I look at the Settings for MY TV there are 19 options in Video Codecs and I have tried them all, also played about with the 4 Deinterlace option.

PC is P4 3ghz with GeForce4-MX with 93.71 driver.

Any help appreciated??

VMR9 issue that is well known, stop any video\TV playing before resizing and there is no problem.

No FIX at this moment in time.

I think I have the same problem, whenever I try and use ALT-TAB and go from windowed to fullscreen all hell breaks loose. Is it really a VMR9 issue though? I've had no trouble doing this with any other PVR application I've used (that also use VMR9). Can MediaPortal be set to VMR7?

Should have been a bit more explicite, DX9 (which MP uses) running VMR9 are the joint cause.

If another PVR software does not invoke DX9, then there is no issue.

This should be solved with EVR as renderer, fine for Vista users and I know that the Devs are trying to see if XP can be adapted to use EVR as well.

I'm pretty sure that is why MCE will only run fullscreen, with no ability to resize as a window.
