Default Program guide listings: using Vista MC listings in MP?

I have Windows Vista Ultimate and have really liked MC, its done what I want with a few 3rd party apps and has been simple to use.

However, I am slowly trying to figure out how to set-up a TV and media server and just have clients around the house. So far I think I've gotten this to work with MP, although both boxes are on wireless and have poor signal, but it connects and plays TV (albeit extremely poor quality/choppy, but I'm going to assume thats the wireless, I'll get it wired soon).

One thing I'd like to avoid is paying for TV listings, especially if I end up deciding that the TV/media server is impractical.

Since I have Vista Ultimate and get TV listings for free, is there any way to take that an import it into Media Portal? Could I do this over the network (MP is on a fresh XP install, my main client is the Vista machine)? If I have to, I'll add some more RAM to the TV server and upgrade to Vista if that allows me to have free TV listings (not to mention then I could use my xbox360 as an extender to the server).

Thoughts? Is this currently possible? How can I do it?

While I'm at it, can someone point me in the direction of the configuration file for the microsoft MCE remote? Since I'm trying to transition over to MP, I'd like to set-up the green button to open MP instead of VMC.
