question about ripping dvd's to HDD with dvdfab

hi,

got a question about ripping dvd's to HDD with DVDFAB.

i have a problem with the picture size of my dvd's (mainmovie only) that i ripped to HDD.

when i watch the movies in MP, PDVD or even in dvdfab itself i have in most of my movies small black bars.

some have only a small (1 to 2 cm) bar on the left side, others have a small (aprox. 1 cm) on the top and bottom of the screen.
and others have a small black bar on all 4 sides of the screen.
when i play a dvd a have the same problem.

it's very annoying to watch like this.

does anybody has the same or know what could be the cause of this?
is it a problem with DVDFAB? does anybody know better software for ripping dvd to HDD?
altough i don't think it is a problem with DVDFAB as i have the same issue when i play a dvd.

i don't have this when i play a dvd in a regular standalone dvd player or on my laptop.
