Exclamation Question with MP and Hybrid cards

I am a new user, so i do apologise for any ignorance. I have an issue where MP V 2.0.4 which i am running with my Divco Hybrid.
During setup MP automatically finds my Australian digital reception which is great, but I am actually trying to use the analog side due to me using a rebroad cast of Foxtel via the RF signal on the Digital foxtel box.
My Divco s/w finds both Digital and analoge and i can even select fom both.
I didn't think much of it but when i went looking for the configuration setting to turn off digital and use only analog, i was surprised, i have either not seen it or it is not there. How do i tell MP to only use Analog.

I am at a stand still with this issue. If anyone can help that would be great.

Hi.
Try removing the digitalchannels in setup (not while running MP but under normal windows).

Per.

With the hybrid cards they get added into MP as two separate cards.
In the TV card setup, try adding in a second card and see if an analog card is an option?

I don't think you can add an RF signal as external input. I think only RCA is an option there. If you have an AV input you'll get better quality anyway.

Analog software envoding cards are not all supported by MP. If the DVico doesn't get detected you may have to follow the steps in the stiky thread on the support forum. I'm pretty sure it is though.

Sorry for the delay, do you mean from the Divco Software? This I have already done and no change.

I can only get MP to detect 1 card not two, I may have to look into this sticky thread you are talking about.

Thanks,

I have a hybrid card too (Leadtek WinFast DTV2000 H) and can't figure out how to tune in the analog channels either. I followed the instructions in the sticky thread, submitted details for the card and was told it was supported. I took a look and found it in the supported cards under DVBt, but it is actually a hybrid card.

I tried adding it as another card, but it only recognises the one as digital.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks

*bump*

Can anyone tell me how to tune in analog channels in a hybrid card?

Any help would be much appreciated as I'm tearing me hair out at the moment trying to get it to work.

Thanks

Providing the card works fine, you should just have to do an autotune using the analogue card entry in setup.

It only shows the one card though, as digital. Tried to get it to look for other cards but still reports only the one.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
