| I was wondering if you can run MediaPortal without an installer. I recently got a laptop at work that i'll be able to take home and i would love to hook it up to my TV and use it as an HTPC. I'd stream all the video from my desktop. Since it's a work machine i don't want to install anything on it and would prefer to run MediaPortal from a USB drive without installing anything. Thanks! |

Country: | Hi, well, MP can be run without installation. If you have a private PC just install it there. Du not run the setup! Directly after installation, you can copy the /MediaPortal/ folder everywhere you want. It should also run from a USB drive. HTH, Flip. |
