| Hi, I am trying to configure VLC as the external player for the DVD Player, as I currently have DVD files on the hard drive. How can I pass the directory name over to VLC? What is the parameter? I know %filename% pass over the file name, but I can't find any reference on passing directory name. |

| Yes, but I need to have the MP control on the primary display and the movie displayed on the secondary display, and I was told that MP can't do that due to overlay issues. I would rather not use an external player if I could ![]() I noticed that %filename% is passing over path\video_ts.ifo, so now I just need to find a way to parse the string and remove "\video_ts.ifo" so that vlc can be launched. |
